How to Help

Share your time and skills

Daytime volunteers are welcome Monday through Saturday. You could be a mentor, teach a craft, lead a class, help in the office, donate professional services, or help offer hospitality to our guests, making them feel welcome as you would at home.

We have a great need right now for health care professionals with giving hearts. Not all services are accessible for women on the streets. Our church's vision is to bring good news and God's nurture when it is needed. One of those ways is by providing opportunities for proper health care.

Perhaps you are a dentist or dental hygienist who will accept referrals for a woman who is in need of care for her teeth that have not been looked at in years. Maybe you work at an eye clinic, and can take on a few new clients that need new eyeglasses but cannot afford to pay. The sky is the limit! Please call Marty at (206) 621-8474, or send an e-mail to office@churchofmarymagdalene.org for more information on how you can serve your larger community.

Our Board of Directors is another volunteer opportunity, with members serving three-year terms.

Cook and serve a meal
Women's groups donate and serve the hot meal after our Saturday service. They often join us for worship as well. Contact us to schedule your group now!

Financial support
Congregations, church women's groups, and individuals provide most of our financial support. As with any church, your donations are tax deductible.

Help for homeless women just a call or email away!
Now you can help homeless women at our Seattle church without ever leaving your computer! With the help of Network for Good, we can now accept your donations online. Click here to find out more about how to financially contribute.

Please contact the church at (206) 621-8474, or e-mail us at office@churchofmarymagdalene.org for more information.
